Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Distribution Attendant to support order fulfillment, loading/unloading, and mail duties across the Medical Center. You will verify counts against documents, assemble orders for nursing units, and distribute supplies using pallet jacks and forklifts. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; strong communication skills.
• Experience with computerized inventory systems and barcode scanning.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, load and unload pallets; place into racks and shelving; rotate stock by expiry date.
• Maintain inventory levels by restocking carts and updating records.
• Ensure par-stock carts are filled and organized; replenish supplies to nursing units.
• Deliver supplies to patient care areas; obtain necessary signatures for issued items.
• Document transactions in inventory system; perform cycle counts and report discrepancies.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts; keep work area clean and safe.
