NYU Langone Health is seeking a Supervisor-Central Distribution to oversee inventory and distribution operations, support turnover goals, and coordinate delivery of medical supplies to nursing units. The role includes scheduling staff, managing shifts, and backing up the Inventory/Receiving Coordinator.

The candidate will apply sterile processing and inventory control principles, monitor performance reports, and help implement policy changes while ensuring regulatory compliance and teamwork

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Education or Healthcare related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Materials Management operations.
• Minimum three years of progressive work experience in supply distribution.
• Knowledge of healthcare products.
• Active membership in relevant professional organizations.
• Computer proficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Maximize resources and adjust staffing to workload; plan workflow and minimize overtime.
• Supervise Central Distribution activities and coordinate deliveries to nursing units.
• Monitor and improve quality of processes and products for customers.
• Maintain shift management reports and ensure clear, timely communications.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards; develop policies and procedures as needed.
