Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Materials Management professional to coordinate purchasing, ordering, inventory and related supply activities for Banner University Phoenix. The role supports timely acquisition of materials and services for the medical center in line with policies and contracts.

The position requires 2+ years in Materials Management or medical field, strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to use a materials management information system.

Qualifications

• Requires an associates degree in business or procurement or equivalent experience and training.
• Requires knowledge from two or more years in Materials Management and/or the medical field, with understanding of medical supplies and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement, receipt, distribution and charging of medical supplies and materials.
• Regularly inventory goods, monitor usage, shelf life and stock rotation within assigned areas.
• Assess schedules and forecast needs for procedures and equipment, order items as needed.
