Job summary

Banner Health in Phoenix is seeking a Supply Chain professional to coordinate purchasing, inventory and services for the medical center.

You will use MMIS systems to track orders, monitor stock, and support procurement across Cath Lab, Central Supply and Capital Equipment.

Strong communication and analytical skills are essential, with an associate degree preferred and 2+ years in materials management or health care.

Qualifications

• Requires business, math and communications skills.
• Experience in Materials Management or medical field preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication, customer service and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with materials management information systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduces and coordinates procurement, receipt, distribution and charging of medical supplies and other materials for assigned areas.
• Regularly takes inventory of all goods and monitors usage, shelf life, and stock rotation.
• Assesses upcoming schedules and forecast information; orders special items as needed.
• Uses a materials management information system for ordering, tracking and reporting.
• Maintains MMIS data and ensures policy compliance.
• Performs Quality Management work as assigned.
