Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Receiver in Phoenix to perform all functions related to the receiving, shipping and distribution of materials for the hospital central supply department. You will verify orders, stage deliveries and support internal customers in a fast-paced health-care environment.

Ideal candidates have warehouse/inventory experience, familiarity with medical supplies and a customer service background.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years of related work with shipping & receiving and medical supplies preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming orders and verifies accuracy and condition.
• Audits orders for accuracy, proper storage, and temperature requirements.
• Distributes orders to appropriate departments in a timely manner.
• Prepares outgoing material for shipping and ensures accompanying documents.
• Enters returns/substitution receipts into MMIS.
• Works independently under supervision to meet internal customer supply needs.
