Job summary

Qualifications

• Understanding of inventory management tasks and ability to work with a computer-based inventory system.
• Accurate data entry and keyboarding skills; ability to read and interpret supply requisitions.
• Effective written and verbal communication; strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Take daily inventory of the assigned supply area and restock to par levels.
• Monitor usage and generate utilization reports for leadership review.
• Assist with procurement of special needs and equipment as required.
• Serve as a knowledge resource on supply methods and goods for staff.
• Work under supervision following defined procedures and guidelines; represent the organization when interfacing with vendors.
