Job summary

Hartford HealthCare in Manchester, CT is seeking a Central Staffing Specialist to support staffing operations across the Greater Manchester region. You will generate and adjust schedules, review staff requests, and reconcile timecards to ensure payroll accuracy in a high-volume hospital setting.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in hospital staffing or related office experience, plus strong computer skills in Word, Excel and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Assist Staffing Coordinator in aligning staffing operations with goals.
• Cover for Central Staffing Specialist and handle daily tasks when needed.
• Prepare, change and update clinical schedules using computer software.
• Ensure nursing units are staffed using applicable templates.
• Reconcile schedules and timecards by due date; review time off requests.
