Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Middletown, OH is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef at Atrium Medical Center. You will coordinate cooks, supervise staff, and ensure high quality, safe meal preparation for patients and staff. Schedule: 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, 40 hours weekly with every other weekend and holidays.

Previous supervisory and healthcare experience preferred. Fixed pay rate: $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Requirement: Previous supervisory experience required.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates including scheduling, payroll, training, and reviews.
• Stores food following safety procedures and maintains sanitation of equipment and work areas.
• Ensures proper food handling, temperatures, and portion control to meet standards.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a courteous manner.
• Keeps staff informed about daily menu items and special preparations.
