Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services in Detroit, MI, part of Compass Healthcare, is hiring a full-time Sous Chef. You will assist the Executive Chef, coordinate cooks and kitchen staff, and assume leadership in their absence.

The role requires previous culinary leadership experience and offers a pay range of $18.00–$22.00 per hour with flexible shifts and weekend rotation. Benefits are provided for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including scheduling and training.
• Stores food following safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ensures proper food handling, presentation and serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and workstation.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly manner.
• Keeps peak production and service hours in view.
• Monitors inventory and informs supervisor when supplies are low.
