Compass Group USA, as part of TouchPoint Support Services, seeks an Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations for hospital dining programs in Rochester, MI. You will manage safety, quality, and staff, directing meal preparation per corporate standards and client needs.

The role emphasizes high-volume, start-to-finish culinary leadership with cost controls, menu planning, and compliance. This is a full-time opportunity with competitive benefits in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience required for kitchen management
• Minimum of three to five years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
• Hands-on chef experience is a must
• Strong knowledge of food cost controls, trends, and presentation
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to guidelines
• Completes production worksheets and waste logs, tests meals for quality
• Trains kitchen staff on food preparation, safety, and sanitation
• Establishes and maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and areas
• Maintains inventory within guidelines and ensures product availability
• Makes decisions on leftover food utilization within guidelines
• Complies with health and safety regulations and audits
• Attends departmental meetings and staff development programs
