Job summary

MIDWEST TRANSPLANT NETWORK INC in Westwood, KS is seeking a full-time Hospital Services Liaison to implement hospital support services, track referrals, plan strategically, and educate partner hospitals.

The role emphasizes building strong hospital relationships, analyzing data to identify trends, and delivering presentations to guide improvements in organ donation processes. 40-hour weeks with travel within the service area may be required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in biological or social sciences, business, marketing or communications; or associates degree with RN or other allied health licensure required.
• 2-3 years experience in a professional medical position or a combination of experience and education providing equivalent knowledge required.
• Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including extended hours when needed.
• Detail oriented, organized, excellent tracking/reporting skills, effective written and verbal communication.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains hospital services operational records and reports.
• Maintains and develops effective working relationships with hospital contacts and physicians.
• Maintains current knowledge of hospital structure and inter-department relationships.
• Knowledge of laws related to the donation process and assist hospitals with policy assessment.
• Gather, analyze and present hospital data to identify issues and trends.
• Collaborates with hospitals to create SWOT analyses and annual strategic plans.
• Organizes and leads Donor Advisory Council with hospital stakeholders.
• Leads After Action Reviews with physicians and hospital staff.
• Communicates opportunities for improvement and celebrates successes with hospitals.
