Job summary

MIDWEST TRANSPLANT NETWORK INC is seeking a Donor Coordinator to support the organ donation process from referral to organ recovery at MTN Westwood, KS. You will work with hospital staff, clinicians and MTN teams to ensure timely donor evaluation and coordination.

The role requires 40 hours per week with a rotating 24-hour on-call schedule, while maintaining compliance with policy and safety standards. Travel within MTN’s service area may be required.

Qualifications

• RN or equivalent clinical experience required with 4+ years in clinical care
• Critical care experience strongly preferred
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week with 24-hour call responsibilities
• Must have current driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Maintain an on-call schedule (approx. 12–15 24-hour days per month)
• Coordinate donor referrals with hospital staff to facilitate donation
• Evaluate medical suitability of donor cases using records and status
• Initiate donor cases, blood draws and chart entries
• Support donor management and logistics for organ recovery in partnership with the Admin on Call
