Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services seeks a Senior Sous Chef to support daily hospital kitchen operations, partnering with the Executive Chef on menu development, supervision, and culinary execution in a high-volume healthcare setting.

The role is hands-on and collaborative, focusing on delivering high-quality food and service while managing costs and ensuring safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or culinary certificate with applicable experience.
• Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Catering experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume healthcare or batch cooking is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of current food and catering trends with focus on quality, efficiency, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations.
• Assist with menu planning, development, and execution.
• Ensure consistent preparation, production, and presentation of menu items.
• Supervise and support hourly culinary associates as assigned.
• Execute and support catering events and special functions.
• Assist with ordering, inventory, and food cost controls.
• Help roll out new culinary programs in collaboration with corporate culinary and marketing teams.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives and programs.
• Additional duties as assigned.
