Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of security or security-related experience is required.
• BART and IAHSS certification should be obtained within six months of hire.
• Ability to adhere to dress code and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide protective services to assigned locations, patients, visitors, and staff.
• Patrol UCSD Health Sciences premises by foot or vehicle to protect life and property.
• Manage disruptive persons with minimum use of force; control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to fire or security alarms and take appropriate action; report hazards.
