Mass General Brigham is seeking a Per Diem Security Officer at 30 Locust Street to patrol buildings, monitor life safety issues, and respond to security incidents under the Senior Manager, Security Services.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, AVADE and IAHSS certifications, ability to lift 50 pounds, weekend and holiday availability, and experience in healthcare or law enforcement. Onsite work with comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• AVADE (Workplace Violence Prevention training) within three months.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills.
• Good judgment and ability to interpret instructions.
• 1 year experience / 21 years of age.
• Healthcare or law enforcement experience.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Handcuffing certification within 2 weeks of hire.
• IAHSS basic certification within 90 days of hire.
• OC spray exposure training.
• BLS within 90 days.

Mansioni

• Respond to security and life safety issues as needed.
• Tours buildings and grounds, minimum 4 rounds per shift.
• Confronts unauthorized persons for questioning or detains them when appropriate.
• Use emergency equipment and report safety violations.
• Check for weapons/contraband and notify police when needed.
• Maintain 100% response rate for assistance.
• Document daily shift reports and incident forms.
• Enforce parking policy with warnings.
• Maintain lighting and security equipment; adhere to confidentiality.
