Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health at Clermont Hospital seeks an unarmed Protective Services Officer to safeguard patients, visitors and staff. You will patrol grounds, escort individuals, monitor CCTV, and respond to routine and emergency calls.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and BLS within 6 months; TASER certification within 6 months is also required. Security experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• RSFH licensure requirements (armed – TASER) within 6 months and TASER training within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients, visitors and employees and patrol grounds.
• Deters criminal activity through routine patrols of hospital property.
• Enforces hospital policies (parking, visitation, etc.).
• Monitors CCTV and responds to escalating situations.
• Documents duties in daily logs and incident reports.
