Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a vigilant security professional to provide unarmed, uniformed security services across hospital campuses. Under supervision, you will patrol facilities, respond to incidents, assist patients and staff, manage traffic around entrances, and coordinate with law enforcement as needed.

The role emphasizes safeguarding people and property, while ensuring smooth operations and safe patient care within a multi-site health system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year in a customer-focused service-based organization.
• Preferred: two years in law enforcement, military or private security.

Responsibilities

• Patrols facilities and grounds on foot or with vehicle per schedule.
• Reports incidents or loss and coordinates with police when needed.
• Responds to service calls promptly and courteously.
• Directs vehicle traffic and enforces parking rules.
• Restrains unruly individuals when necessary and assists police.
• Protects valuables and hospital equipment; manages lost and found.
• Checks doors, windows, alarms, and safety equipment for proper operation.
• Investigates thefts and accidents; documents evidence clearly.
