Job summary

Resolute Health Hospital is seeking an unarmed Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, patients, physicians, students, vendors, and visitors. You will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and assist during incidents with a focus on customer service and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years in security or 3+ years in customer service with willingness to learn security practices, and state licensure/certification plus a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 2 years in a security role or 3+ years in customer service with willingness to learn security practices
• Licensure/certification as required by state law; valid state driver’s license; AHA BLS

Responsibilities

• Protect life, property, information, and reputation by monitoring entrances/exits and directing people to authorized areas
• Evaluate and respond to incidents in accordance with hospital policies
• Provide exceptional customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and physicians
• Respond to emergencies including disturbances, restrained individuals, fires, and medical incidents per security policy
• Prepare and submit incident documentation as required
• Maintain knowledge of security orders and regulatory requirements
