Endeavor Health is seeking an unarmed security officer to safeguard hospital facilities and grounds across multiple locations. You will patrol, respond to incidents, escort visitors, direct traffic, and assist police as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and reliable teamwork in a health care setting. Required education includes a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of one year in a customer-focused environment; CPR and a valid FOID card are required within specified

Formación

• Education required: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: minimum one year in a customer-focused service-based organization.
• Preferred: law enforcement, military, or private security background.
• CPR certification within 90 days of start date.
• FOID card required within 90 days.
• CPI certification within six months.

Responsabilidades

• Patrols hospital facilities and grounds on foot or by vehicle.
• Reports incidents involving loss, theft, or vandalism; coordinates with police if needed.
• Provides directions and escorts to patients and visitors.
• Directs vehicle traffic to prevent congestion; issues parking citations as needed.
• Restraints unruly individuals per policy and notifies police when necessary.
• Inspects doors, windows, alarms and equipment; reports problems.
