Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed Security Professional to patrol hospital grounds on foot or by vehicle, indoors or outdoors. The role includes controlling access, monitoring CCTV, and reporting incidents in a healthcare facility.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of security or related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. This is a full-time on-site position in the Stafford area with a drug screen and potential TB testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver's license may be required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable employment history relating customer service or the protective service industry.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to operate radio or console monitors.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or in vehicle; document observations.
• Assist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations; restrain as necessary.
• Transport patients to the morgue, as needed.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to the emergency room.
• Assist with evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and natural disasters.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized persons.
• Monitor entrances and exits; ensure only authorized individuals enter.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
