Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed to patrol hospital grounds by foot or vehicle, monitor access, CCTV, and report incidents in a healthcare setting. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required, with at least 2 years of related experience.

TB test and vaccinations may be required due to the healthcare environment. All shifts are available with competitive pay and benefits; safety-sensitive duties apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable employment history relating to customer service or protective service.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or in vehicle; document observations of security concerns or safety hazards.
• Assist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients; restrain combative individuals as necessary.
• Transport patients to the morgue, if needed.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to the emergency room.
• Assist with evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and natural disasters.
• Sound alarms or contact authorities in case of fire or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized individuals enter.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
