Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed to conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols in a hospital environment, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and prepare reports. TB testing and certain vaccinations may be required; drug screening may be conducted where permitted by law.

This full-time role in Long Beach, CA offers paid training, uniforms provided, and benefits. A HS diploma and at least 1 year of healthcare security experience, plus a clean background and driving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have valid driver's license if driving a company- or customer-owned vehicle.
• Minimum two years of verifiable employment history in customer service or protective services.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to operate radio/console equipment.
• Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Demonstrated written communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or by vehicle of hospital grounds.
• Assist staff with de-escalation and restrain as needed per guidelines.
• Evacuations during emergencies and monitor entrances/exits.
• Sound alarms and contact authorities for incidents.
• Prepare reports and maintain logs of incidents and observations.
