Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking Security Officers to protect patients, visitors, employees, and physicians. On-site roles involve patrolling facilities, escorting people, and responding to emergencies, with shifts typically 7:00am–7:00pm or 7:00pm–7:00am, four days a week, and every other weekend.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid Illinois driver license with an acceptable MVR over five years, and prior security experience.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly patrols buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, vandalism or safety hazards.
• Courteously escorts visitors, patients and staff to and from parking areas.
• Responds to requests for service.
• Responds to Code Reds and drills per Hospital Fire Plan.
