Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital Inc. is seeking a Security Guard to protect life and property on hospital grounds.

You will inspect and secure doors, escort visitors, and patrol parking areas, responding to emergencies and keeping order for patients and staff. The role requires a 2–5 year security or law enforcement background, a Guard Card, and a California driver license, with additional Assaultive Behavior Management certification due within 45 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in security or law enforcement or equivalent (preferred).
• High School Graduate/Equivalent.
• Current Guard Card required; Assaultive Behavior Management certification within 45 days of hire required.
• Current CA driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect doors, windows, and locks to determine level of security.
• Ensure only authorized personnel are admitted onto hospital premises.
• Escort visitors, patients and personnel to and from parking areas.
• Patrol parking areas to detect irregularities and respond to emergencies.
• Inspect outgoing parcels to prevent theft of hospital property.
