Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), is seeking a Security Guard to protect life and property on campus. You will patrol buildings and grounds, control access, and escort visitors and staff to secure areas.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years in security or law enforcement, a valid Guard Card, a California driver’s license, and the Assaultive Behavior Management certification within 45 days of hire. UHS offers competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in security or law enforcement (preferred).
• High School Grad/Equivalent.
• Guard Card required.
• Assaultive Behavior Management certification within 45 days of hire.
• CA driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect doors, windows, and locks to determine level of security.
• Escort visitors, patients and personnel to and from parking areas.
• Patrol hospital grounds to detect irregularities and prevent security issues.
• Respond to emergency calls and assist with disorderly conduct or combative situations.
• Inspect outgoing parcels as necessary to prevent theft.

Education

2-5 years’ experience in security or law enforcement (preferred)

High School Graduate/Equivalent

Current Guard Card

Assaultive Behavior Management certification

Current CA driver’s license
