Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Security Guard for Temecula Valley Hospital to protect life and property on site. Duties include patrolling, inspecting doors and locks, and guiding visitors and staff to secure areas.

The role requires 2–5 years in security, a valid Guard Card, and a California driver’s license. A certification in Assaultive Behavior Management is due within 45 days of hire. TVH offers a challenging environment and growth opportunities within UHS.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience in law enforcement and/or security (preferred)
• High School Graduate/Equivalent
• Current Guard Card required
• Assaultive Behavior Management certification required within 45 days of hire
• Current CA driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Inspect doors, windows, and locks to determine level of security.
• Ensure only authorized personnel are admitted onto hospital premises.
• Escort visitors, patients and personnel to and from parking areas.
• Patrol parking areas to detect irregularities.
• Respond to emergency calls to control disorderly conduct or combative patients.
• Inspect outgoing parcels to prevent theft of hospital property
