Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Security Guard to protect life and property on-site. Primary duties include patrolling buildings and grounds, inspecting doors, windows and locks, and escorting visitors and staff to secure areas.

The role requires 2–5 years in law enforcement or security, a current Guard Card, and a CA driver’s license. We offer a challenging work environment, growth opportunities within UHS, and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in law enforcement or security (preferred).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Guard Card required.
• Assaultive Behavior Management certification required within 45 days of hire.
• Current California driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Inspects doors, windows and locks to determine level of security.
• Ensures only authorized personnel are admitted onto hospital premises.
• Escorts visitors, patients and personnel to and from parking areas.
• Patrols parking areas to detect any irregularities.
• Responds to emergency calls and manages disorderly or combative situations.
