Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) seeks a Security Guard for FT Nights & Weekends at Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, TX. Under supervision, you will provide security services for the Security and Safety Department and maintain a Texas Private Security Level II License.

The role supports a culture of safety and service excellence in a hospital environment. Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, monitoring CCTV, maintaining logs, and assisting with incidents.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for Texas Peace Officers License or Texas Commissioned Private Security Guard License.
• Handle with Care and Verbal De-Escalation training required.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to radio, pager, or telephone calls and requests.
• Respond to emergency calls and alarms within the facility.
• Monitor CCTV and learn to troubleshoot security systems.
• Maintain inspection logs and incident reports.
• Escort to law enforcement and mental health facilities as required.
• Attend training and enforce hospital policies and safety procedures.
