St. James Hospital in New York seeks a full-time Security Guard to protect patients, staff, and property. The role patrols the ER and hospital grounds, monitors cameras and access points, and escalates incidents as needed to maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities include escorting visitors, responding to Code Team activations, and reporting incidents. Requires NYS guard registration or completion within 90 days, and a NYS driver's license, with documentation maintained for CPR and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in security or law enforcement required.
• Must pass PMCS training within start period.

Responsabilités

• Patrols hospital building and grounds to prevent fires, theft and vandalism.
• Monitors access control, camera systems, and reports issues.
• Ensures only authorized personnel are admitted.
• Escorts visitors and patients to parking areas.
• Responds to emergency calls and codes.
• Writes incident reports detailing investigations.
• Liaises with local law enforcement as needed.
• Inspects parcels to prevent theft of hospital property.
• Reports safety and fire hazards to supervisors.
