Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking Security Officers to join our healthcare system across our medical and academic campuses. As a visible front-line security presence, you will protect patients, visitors, employees and property, maintain access control, and respond to incidents to ensure a safe environment.

This role requires weekend/holiday coverage. A NYS Security Guard License, high school diploma, and BCLS certification within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, military experience, or 2 years of college in criminal justice or related field.
• Prior work experience as Security Guard.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Maintain access control in assigned areas.
• Respond to emergency situations.
