Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, staff and volunteers. This role supports the Safety/Security/Emergency Management and Parking programs.

You will patrol facilities, conduct inspections, respond to alarms, enforce policies, investigate incidents, and assist during emergencies while coordinating with hospital teams to keep patient care uninterrupted.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Private Police Training or equivalent.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Good communications skills and ability to deal with the public effectively.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital property to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Conduct inspections and document potential safety hazards.
• Enforce hospital policies, procedures and regulations.
• Investigate and document incidents, and complete reports.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies to normalize conditions.
• Direct and control traffic/parking and assist with patient care access.
• Perform all other duties assigned by department management.
