Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous security experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital property to ensure a safe and secure environment, cooperating with coworkers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Inspect for potential or real hazards and document findings; initiate safety reminders or requests as needed.
• Enforce hospital policies and procedures, including appearing in court if necessary.
• Investigate and document reports of criminal or unusual activity; prepare clear, concise incident reports.
• Respond to alarms and take action to normalize; locate alarm sources and respond to panic alarms promptly.
• Direct and control traffic/parking to ensure safe flow and enforce parking rules; issue citations or boots as required.
