Labcorp is seeking a Hospital Reference Testing Clerk to join our Spokane, WA team. The role involves preparing laboratory specimens for analysis, processing test requests, and resolving patient or specimen questions in a busy laboratory setting.

The position supports various lab areas, maintains logs, and ensures accuracy and timeliness in data entry. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with overtime and rotating weekends as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of medical office or hospital data entry (preferred).
• 6+ months of clinical, hospital, or research laboratory experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems.
• Send test requests to proper location and release test results.
• Assist clients with specimen-related requests or inquiries.
• Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities.
• Provide support to various areas of the laboratory.
• Perform sample sorting, racking and retrieving.
• Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

PAML a Labcorp company is seeking a Hospital Reference Testing Clerk to join our team in Spokane, WA. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm overtime and rotating weekends may be required

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for various analysis and testing
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months or more medical office or hospital data entry
• 6 months or more clinical, hospital, or research laboratory

Pay Range

$17.75 - $21.37 hourly

Benefits

• Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
• Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
• Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
