Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years healthcare security experience preferred; military/law enforcement or customer service also preferred.
• Observant, calm under pressure; strong interpersonal and communication skills; basic computer/data entry.
• Willing to complete required safety and medical certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies, codes, and alarms per policy and management program.
• First responders to violence, disturbances, and crisis situations; professional assistance within one minute.
• Coordinate with local Police, Fire, and Emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct safety searches, manage contraband, and report hazards.
• Observe patients, de‑escalate, and provide one‑to‑one observation as needed.
• Patrol and report safety issues; enforce hospital policies and codes.
• Prepare and submit incident reports; document major incidents accurately.
• Monitor CCTV; respond to alarms within one minute; dispatch officers accordingly.
