Qualifications

• Adequate reading, oral, and written communication skills, normally acquired through a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of healthcare security experience preferred; military, law enforcement, and customer service experience also preferred.
• Observant with attention to detail; able to remain calm in difficult situations; strong interpersonal and communication skills across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to emergencies, codes, and alarms per policy.
• First responders to violence and crisis situations and collaborates with law enforcement.
• Calls for assistance within one minute as indicated by reports and observations.
• Performs in emergencies per prescribed procedures and de-escalates when needed.
• Completes incident reports by shift end and maintains safety rounds and patrols.
