Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Hospital Project Manager at Morris Cancer Center to coordinate strategic and day-to-day hospital projects across departments, improving operational efficiency and patient safety. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• At least three years hospital project management experience.
• Experience directing staff, contractors, or project teams.
• Strong written and oral communication across departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of PeopleSoft/Oracle and WebParks.
• In-depth knowledge of Genetec video surveillance and access control system.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute hospital projects from initiation to completion.
• Collaborate with executives, clinicians, IT, security teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Define project missions, deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, and performance expectations.
• Lead and supervise staff and contractors, delegating assignments and monitoring progress.
• Coordinate activities across hospital departments to streamline workflows and security initiatives.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, resolve issues, and manage conflicts.
• Facilitate communication among leadership, clinical teams, IT, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Support Genetec security technology implementations.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, and reports using Microsoft Office.
• Manage resources and ensure staff understand their responsibilities.
