Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for the Morris Cancer Center in New Jersey. This role supports a dynamic perioperative team with strong patient care and safety focus.

The RN will participate in assessments, prepare patients, and work closely with physicians during procedures. Monday–Friday 7am-3:30pm with on-call weekends/holidays; EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• BSN degree required or actively enrolled in BSN program.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room.
• Assess patients and intervene based on clinical judgment.
• Administer medications and therapies safely.
• Collaborate with physicians and perioperative team.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
