Job summary

Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a full-time Food Service teammate for the Cafeteria. Primary hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, including every other weekend and rotating holidays. Benefits eligible; 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include maintaining quality and safety standards, assisting patients and staff, and ensuring timely service while controlling waste and costs. Must be English-literate and customer-service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Monitors quality of product at stations, ensures recipe compliance and adherence to guidelines.
• Ensures productivity, delivery and serving line start times are met.
• Minimizes waste and controls cost; follows portion control guidelines.
• Oversees equipment and supplies usage and maintenance; performs dish room functions.
• Contributes to patient and customer satisfaction and maintains service standards.
• Maintains sanitation ratings by following health/dept policies and completing cleaning tasks.
• Completes required trainings including HIPAA and safety training.
• Delivers and serves food trays safely and courteously, following proper protocols.
