Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of experience in a physical plant with gas-fired boilers.
• Associate's degree or vocational/technical certification in mechanical maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor utilities and equipment in boiler room, chiller plant and hospital buildings.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and adjustments on plant and process equipment.
• Perform mechanical, plumbing, HVAC and electrical repairs; prioritize maintenance requests by severity.
• Communicate status to nursing staff and management; assist with emergencies on evenings/nights/weekends.
• Document daily operations, inspections and repairs; notify relevant personnel of emergencies.
