Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a skilled maintenance technician responsible for mechanical repairs across the hospital, including electrical and plumbing systems. The role requires responding to service calls and emergencies, and maintaining door hardware and locks to ensure facility safety.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and basic knowledge of mechanical equipment, with preferred training in stationary engineering, plumbing, HVAC or electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of a wide range of mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Handles all mechanical repairs throughout the hospital, including electrical and plumbing.
• Responds to service and emergency calls regarding any maintenance repair, electrical or plumbing problem.
• Maintains locks and keys and door related apparatus.
• Must demonstrate personal accountability for knowledge and application of DOH, Joint Commission and ICRA requirements.
