Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at Advocate Christ Medical Center - Pharmacy to support licensed pharmacists in a fast-paced hospital environment.

You will handle medication preparation, labeling, inventory, IV admixtures per USP where applicable, and ensure patient safety. Requires high school diploma, state licensure, and CPT within 18 months; hospital experience preferred; rotating shifts 6:00 AM–2:30 PM / 2:00 PM–10:30 PM.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Must obtain CPhT or ExCPT within 18 months from start date.
• Registration or licensure with state board of pharmacy required.
• No prior work experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist licensed pharmacists with preparation and distribution of medications.
• Select, prepare, and label medications for patients including hazardous drugs.
• Assist with medication distribution tasks.
• Perform nonsterile compounding per USP standards.
• Maintain medication storage and inventory control.
• Document medication admissions and assist with billing tasks.
