Job summary

METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmaceutical care across specialty pharmacies and inpatient services. You will assist pharmacists, prepare and distribute medications, and participate in take-home medication services, under supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, Ohio pharmacy technician registration, and certification within 90 days of hire. Ideal candidates have strong customer service and able to work 7am–5pm shifts.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalency required.
• Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician registration or ability to obtain.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Pharmacist, supports pharmaceutical care in specialty and inpatient pharmacy.
• Delivers medications and supports quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
• Upholds MetroHealth System mission, vision, values, and customer service standards.

Education

HS Diploma or passage of high school equivalency exam

Ohio State Board of Pharmacy registration (Pharmacy Technician)

Certification within 90 days (PTCB/ExCPT)
