Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
• 18 years of age or older with no felony convictions per Ohio law.
• Current/active Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) or ExCPT certification within 90 days of hire; maintains certification.
• Currently registered or becomes registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, performs duties in the specialty and inpatient pharmacies.
• Delivers medication related services to in-house patients and take-home medications.
• Assists Pharmacists with quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
• Upholds the MetroHealth System mission, vision, values, and customer service standards.
