Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Current/active Certified Pharmacy Technician from PTCB or ExCPT certification, or eligibility within 90 days of hire.
• Active registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy, or active registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy and certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, performs duties in the delivery of pharmaceutical care in specialty and inpatient pharmacies.
• Delivers medication related services to in-house patients and takes home medication services.
• Assists Pharmacists with quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies and upholds MetroHealth System standards.
