METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medication distribution in specialty and inpatient pharmacies. You will work under a Pharmacist to ensure accurate delivery of medications and take-home supplies, contributing to safe patient care and service excellence.

Qualifications include HS diploma, active CPTCB/ExCPT or Ohio registration, and the ability to travel to satellite locations. Evening shift and biweekly hours reflect the operation needs of the department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18 years or older with no felony convictions.
• Active CPTCB or ExCPT certification OR active Ohio Board registration, maintained during employment.
• Willing and able to travel to external satellite locations with reliable transportation.
• Able to interact effectively with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Pharmacist, performs duties in pharmaceutical care across specialty and inpatient pharmacies.
• Delivers medication-related services to in-house patients and take-home medications.
• Assists Pharmacists with quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
• Upholds MetroHealth System mission, values and customer service standards.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPTCB) or ExCPT certification

Ohio State Board of Pharmacy registration (Active)

Willingness to travel to external satellite locations
