Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of a pharmacist, processes prescription orders in a timely manner.
• Retrieves, counts, and prepares medications and other compounds as directed.
• Fills, packs, and delivers patient-specific medications to appropriate locations.
• Maintains accurate inventory, expiration dates, and proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Train new technicians and assist in quality assurance activities.
• Support pharmacists with medication preparation, inquiries, and documentation.
