The position is a Per Diem/Day shift role in Massachusetts, requiring enrollment in an accredited pharmacy degree program and completion of year 2.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy degree program and has completed year 2.
• Registration as Pharmacy Student Intern is required.
• 0–1 year related work experience.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate basic web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Develops familiarity with medications, both generic and trade names, and typical dosages.
• Distributes medications using automated cabinetry and monitors discharge/transfer lists.
• Delivers medications with appropriate labeling and performs packaging tasks.
• Prepares and labels parenteral admixtures and related items using aseptic technique.
• Restocks floor stock and automated dispensing cabinetry; checks for expired medications.
• Maintains stock levels in the unit dose area and OR/pharmacy satellite locations.
