Job summary

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical training in completed 2nd year in Pharmacy degree program at accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Registration Pharmacy Student Intern is required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited pharmacy degree program and must have completed year 2.
• Basic familiarity with computers; navigate basic level web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Develops familiarity with medications and dosage conversions.
• Distributes medications via automated cabinetry and monitors discharge lists.
• Delivers medications with appropriate labels.
• Repackages tablets, capsules and liquids; assigns expiration dates.
• Prepares parenteral admixtures aseptically and handles related items.
