Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical training in Completed 2nd year in Pharmacy degree program at accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Registration Pharmacy Student Intern required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited pharmacy degree program and must have completed year 2.
• Basic familiarity with computers.

Responsibilities

• Develops familiarity with medications including generic/trade names and dosages.
• Distributes and labels medications and monitors discharge lists and transfers.
• Prepares topical and irrigation solutions and repackages medications as needed.
• Maintains stock levels and checks for expired medications.
• Performs aseptic technique in compounding parenteral admixtures in laminar flow hood.
• Supports OR pharmacy operations and related documentation.
