Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a Manager of Pharmacy Operations in Florida. The role leads pharmacy services under the Director of Pharmacy, guiding process improvements, policy implementation, and team leadership within the inpatient setting.

You will oversee scheduling, performance evaluations, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with clinical staff to optimize patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree is required (BS or Pharm.D.).
• Two years of hospital pharmacy practice with one year of supervisory experience.
• Licensed pharmacist by the Florida Board of Pharmacy or will obtain licensure within 4 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and implementation of systems and policies for pharmacy services with the Pharmacy team.
• Participate in Process Improvement and Quality Management programs and ensure compliance.
• Meet with management to plan, revise, or implement new services and procedures.
• Supervise and guide team members; coordinate scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance within designated areas.
• Lead recruitment, coaching, and performance counseling for team members.
